If you want a cynical answer (ie likely closer to the truth), she isnt really happy, and is just copying what other women around her do. (going to concerts? Wow what originality. Let me guess, she likes travelling too?)
If you want an even MORE cynical answer, it's possible that all those things were in her grasp the whole time, and she just didnt bother to get them. ie she's not someone who was unable to get them, and somehow managed to get them one day. She always could, just didnt want to.
