While your intentions were good, no one wants to hear from some random person who barges in and doesn't really know them at all even if they read about them on the internet, what to change about their life unprompted. She was also probably just chilling with orbiters or whoever and didn't want to talk about serious stuff/was embarrassed. If I ever got the chance to talk to her I'd try to convince her to get off drugs nicely after talking to her for a while.
