Another random of thought I had:
If you ever want proof that she's legitimately a sociopath just look at how perplexed she is by common moral concerns towards her current career goals. All children are aware that tanks and planes and anything that's able to blow shit up is cool, it's just most develop empathy for others and realize the people with access to advanced weapons systems will use them to murder babies. She's not dumb enough to not know that babies will be murdered, so I can only conclude that she simply doesn't care.
