I've seen it the other way.
Treating them like they're valued makes them feel like the company needs them more than they need the company.
I've tried to do things differently but it hasn't shown any improvement.
I remember treating the workers like expendable assets, and them competing for hours, and being appreciative for getting the work.
Unlike now where I try to express, both just with feedback and more money, that they are valued.
Now it's as if they're doing a favour by accepting the work.
90% of the world wants to be herded, they only think they don't want to.
