I don't think its that unreasonable for most overall drinking 'sessions' to be a single pint. Just like I imagine a lot of the daily drinkers in this study might be low quantity drinkers. My used to drink 1 long neck a day for example.
I can't see a proper gooner chart measuring standards per day here unfortunately
