It started in 2019 I believe. Bonbi threads accounted for the vast majority of all traffic on the (very slow) /wsg/ board, and bonbiposting would occasionally happen on many other boards. She was definitely enough of a sensation to put her somewhere above Rose and Dodger in the record books, but definitely way below Boxxy. Anyway the BW was basically this group of edgy ironic hardcore fans, hence the militaristic national socialist "waffen" part. It was a shock shtick. I think there was an IG account/group they had for a while. There was also a whole Arab bonbi fan scene iirc. I've seen edits of bonbi with nasheeds (Islamic war songs) which I think were made by them.

There's one tiktok stream from 2019 (back when she did those) where she asked what they were about and sort of thought they were silly for their edgy nazi aesthetic. I can't remember the cosplay she was wearing, but it's the one she wore for that tiktok with the cooking sounds and hand chopping motions. I forget the exact stream, but I remember she mentioned she got a stomach flu and lost a lot of weight because of it. Hopefully this will jog someone's memory.
