awhile back bonbi said they got rid of their horses because they couldn't afford them. and they still have dogs, chickens, turkeys, cats, a pig, sheep and stuff. and until recently 2 adult children living with them also.
they also had severe storm damage, including a tree falling on the house in 2021.

when i visited the family bakery it was completely empty aside from me (anecdotal i know), and mombi sells paintings on facebook.
