No, there has always been a percentage of people who dont mind but the rest do. Its part of human nature to dislike whores, not just something that would change in a generation. What has changed is Discord, 4 chans, Telegram etc bringing weird fringe people together and grouping them with so many like minded people they can convince themselves they're normal. Same phenomenon that allows Qanon, flat Earthers and 9/11 deniers etc to thrive.
