That must be so terrible. I'm glad she had the support to finally get out & fight back. She is very lucky.
I guess my only issue would be how no one anywhere in her life felt compelled to pull her aside & tell her what was happening?
My family have ignored me & left me alone for YEARS & years but, I can't imagine no one would even attempt to try to say something.
