That's 100% right. The original 8chan bubblegum board was made as a refuge for people who got banned from Storm's bubblegum board and those that just didn't like the restrictions placed there.

The problem with Storm's type of moderation is that it treats all fetish materials as the creator of that material being the sole authority on it. You can't really have a fetish community without content, so putting everything behind a paywall, which most people are not willing to pay, effectively kills all content. As is evident on the bubblepop forum/discord where almost nothing ever gets posted.

The fallacy of the "you must give camgirls money or there will be no more content" argument is that the camgirls in question are only making content on a commission basis. Since this content was never open to the public in the first place, it was never actually an available source. How can we lose something if we never had it in the first place? Only the ones who are willing to spend a lot of money will get those, which excludes most people.

There is zero danger of custom bubblegum videos disappearing so long as there are camgirls willing to do custom videos for money. Storm's outrage has nothing to do with bubblegum content going away and everything to do with simply wanting to protect the profits of girls on the forum. That's why he and others on the discord only get angry when they see videos of girls they know. They're all conveniently silent when someone else is posted.
