you never got answered because I asked Crisis about it (even as a moderator I don't have this level of control) and I was waiting for him to give an answer before saying anything in the forum but you can guess how it's currently going.

it's been almost a year so I don't remember everything but the (potentially in a urate so take it with a grain of salt) tldr is he got mad because Smeet isn't banned from the booru and he didn't want his "stuff sandwiched next to bestiality/loli", despite this kind of things being forbidden either by the TOS or because we flat out hate it and refuse to leave it. So I don't know what went through his head, but if someone does reupload it you won't see any complain from the moderation (which so far is just me) because he's not a banned artist or anything like that.

Related to this, does anyone know how to host a booru, or at least where to find a decent platform that does the same thing? There's been talk about the booru network going down and it's generally janky at best (not to mention practically unmoderated) anyway.
I found nandroid">https://booru.plusnandroid but it seems to only be a direct dump of what is in the original booru (and I think there's only one user).
I don't know about you but this interface makes my eyes bleed and it feels like it's missing several key features.
