Consider this:
Original BO let it expire, do you want him back? Perhaps new one will be better, perhaps not. There's always option to create a new board. Will be the BO better there? I don't know.
Frankly a "good" BO only has to do 2 things, delete shit that violate global rules and log in at least once a month. Leave the rest to the users.

I haven't seen any problems with /genshin/ since it was made, it's a good board as far as I can tell.
