Are you able to communicate with God or some gods? Some religions claim that it is only possible (reserved) for priests or high class of priests; some spiritual groups claim that you can talk directly and in a reasonably-clearly manner with some divinities/spirits; they called that type of communication praying. Also, some regular people (mediocre beings) believe in a vague "thoughts and prayers" thingy, so it is also kind of the same thing.
