After more awareness and more info what was looking ethically good turn into bad. Moralitycan change over time, it's not immutable. It's a difficult subject. Maybe to reach perfect goodness in every action is an unsolvable problem.
It's normal to make mistakes (specially when young) as a human being, it's difficult to predict the effects of every action. It is recommended to learn from mistakes (handling failure), forgiving yourself (forgiveness) without reach guilt (guilty-less).
