Governments in democratic countries foment competition between companies but don't insist in morality, only insist in following laws, that almost guarantee immorality/corruption, because companies prioritize money/profits over the well-being of others. Some companies even bribe governments (sometimes called lobbying). Current capitalism doesn't foment morality, that leads to environmental problems, exploitation of employees and worst stuff.
We suggest a moral capitalism (or other moral system), of course.
