When it comes to U.S. MilSurp. having "original" or "matching" parts is far, far less a concern, or even common because of how US armories handled firearms.
Parts are replaced and refurbished all the time with service rifles because of their heavy use. US parts manufacturing was also way better, so parts fit just about every rifle uniformly, and so the receiver is the only thing that gets a serial number.
Unlike other countries that get really, really, really autistic about every part having a serial number, because half the time a barrel has to be hand fit to an action, and all its other parts too.
