Even though the spaces between saves and bosses aren't that long, they feel long because of how awkward getting anywhere feels. I felt like never ended up where I was trying to move and fancy jump assassinations and trying to roll to a specific point never worked out. Partly it's the third person perspective, they're always disorienting, partly it's having to learn the moveset by trial and error.
