There's legitimately nothing wrong with trades but the push towards them is incredibly inorganic and missing the forest through the trees. Trades are also overwhelmed with third worlders not understanding anything, too. And trade jobs are also more soul crushing than desk jobs, just lower barriers of entry. Half of corporate jobs literally just exist for quotas and no tethered to any productivity whatsoever so yeah, if you can get that, it's better than work where everything you do is metered and on the clock.
