So since I'm not a Christian and my idea of God is differ from their mainstream picture (fits with the pantheistic view tho) and I don't believe in Satan I pretty much can't take anything "oh my god Satan wants to take over the world" seriously. Also I know/knew (since they all grown up now and see things differently) some pretty dark people and yeah him >>24642 is kinda right, I don't see any problem with that, frankly they more decent people than most Christians.
I can rationalize Satan as the object of blame when people try to shift from themselves from their own morally questionable actions. People are evil enough themselves, there's no need to invent an outside source beside creating a scapegoat.
I see "Satanists" are eccentric people, and any form of artistic manifestation of "Satanism" without real weight, therefore without threat. I'm most familiar with what metal bands produced, and there's nothing to it. Just look at Varg, quetly larps in the Alps with wife and kids and tells you don't watch porn. So evil.
