the only more or less fringe tech i know is Konrad Zuse's tool or proof (maybe it was a language i don't remember), basically his work to prove that duh the shit's digital, i mean the universe (tho it was known long ago but he developed some scientific/tech shit for it, i read paper but it was too autistic for understanding)
