Upon further reading it seems Szálasi wrote the thing in '43 December. The last date he mentions is early November that year. He speaks in future tense about a possible '43-44 winter campaign.
He is very biased when it comes to judging the military command of the two sides, like anything the Germans do is the result of thoughtful calculation, and any achievement the Soviet reaches was done out of luck, or forced to do so. Well ofc, he hated communists, and he has a propagandistic obligation to fulfill, to keep his audience on focus, and such.
