The CCP is essentially legitimising itself through prosperity but that prosperity will not last forever, how will the people react when the housing bubble crashes or the economy slows due to an ageing population or maybe even if the west finally gets their act together and produces goods elsewhere to stop feeding China?
There are systematic problems within even the current China as well, there is a Lie Flat movement which is growing as young people are essentially giving up on life due to how difficult it can be to get a good job and how hard that will make you work and how difficult it is to get a house.
