I'm not going to bother addressing each point anymore.
Essentially your argument is that all China is doing is asserting itself and trying to break free of the US dominance of the world. I'm not denying that the US does have hegemony but what you are ignoring is that this is benefiting most of the major economies, France does not care for the US and still sees itself as a power but France benefits from this too. Aside from the US itself these nations are not worried about China becoming a power again, they expected it and were willing to accommodate it(well even many in the US were actually), what they are worried about is China ruining the peace that so benefits them as they are constantly threatening to do as is the case in the South China Sea. That is what is causing all of these alliances and this build-up.
