I find it interesting that Ecuador has a similar problem (albeit in later stages than the West currently) with their own border security issues. Just recently that nation is facing a massive armed drug cartel uprising and rebellion, and low and behold, what kinds of weapons do these cartel men have at their disposal to destabilize Ecuador? Rifles, ammo and hand grenades! Sound familiar? To me this smells like deliberate destabilization efforts run by some rogue State entity or perhaps militarily, covertly, as in color revolution. Although it is bad, seems like some of these people that get their hands on these kinds of weapons are not very well trained with them, and are getting captured by local police forces already:
