>>17033>>17022Hi baker, how are ya doing? Missed last night round of drinks. Can i get in on it tonight??
>>17008God bless you, baker. YOU ROCK!!!
LB screwup was not your fault. Nor the note-takers', even tho you both tried to take responsibility. It's BOs--fussy reqt's with vague instructions. Suggestion: In the future, don't try to put yr tripcode in the new thread box, that's just a mess. Just use is for subsequent posts. Simple. As long as you have a tripcode somewhere in the dough, that's enough for purposes of id'ing who's baking. So BO can check the bred and see who's responsible if it gets messed up. Too bad that's the focus, would rather there be moar trust.
We need to be able to trust BO, as well. The title on Bred #9433 still needs editing; and he has not done it after repeated requests. I don't know why, that is his job. Hope he reads this and takes care of it tomorrow am.
The notes you are collecting, I asked him to collect. Bc it is his responsibility. As BO/head baker, it's his responsibility. He wasn't watching the bred and it got way behind. You and I and our note-takers (who is a "secret baker") were watching it, even tho that is not our job. I don't mind watching the bred, but it's not ideal when authority and responsibility are not in balance. Eventually, some has to shift.
BO needs to bake again. We need him to bake to avoid burnout--and not just ebake but collect notes to be of us. No baker worth his salt lets his fellow bakers burn out if he can help it. I can tell you story after story of how bakers I know support one another in self-sacrificial ways--it's like, you never leave a man behind. They step to help even when it's very inconvenient. One baker i know always gets clobbered by shills bc his notables are "light," but that's bc he bakes at work to relieve other bakers. He never complains, just puts up with it. He can be a jerk at times but always comes thru when it really matters.
But in the end, nobody can make anybody do anything around here. It's always our decision. Most ofus do what we do out of a sincere desire to serve a great and notable cause: the preservation of freedom. If this is not enough to bring us together as a patriotic brotherhood, I don't know what is.
