Louisa May Alcott's Home in Concord. Purchased by Amos Bronson Alcott in 1857, Orchard House became his family's home after several years of constant moving. It was here that his daughter, Louisa May Alcott, wrote her novel "Little Women" on a desk built for her by her father. Executive Director Jan Turnquist takes us on a tour of the home, giving us a glimpse into the family's life in Concord, MA.

The Presidency "Axis of Evil". President George W. Bush called out terrorist states in his first State of the Union Address after September 11, 2001, labeling them an "axis of evil." On January 29, 2002, he began his speech by asserting that, ". . . our nation is at war; our economy is in recession; and the civilized world faces unprecedented dangers. Yet, the state of our Union has never been stronger."
