That's why Americans are warned to prepare, put some of that money into hard assets and whatever you can afford to. In the meantime we need to start creating and supporting local economies via farmer markets, flea markets, even through means of local bartering if need be. It is up to us. If we sit back and do nothing the consequences will be slavery and feudalism.
