Nu Crow is a good movie. Aesthetics are really nice as expected from Rupert Sanders, storywise its similar to newer good action movies like Boy Kills World (with the same lead actor, Bill Skarsgård), but generally darker and about occult subjects. The plot does a good job of setting up the stakes, the characters are easy to like, the action is good. The romance is interracial but FKA Twigs looks unique enough to not feel ESG.
The motivation of the movie is a fantasy of murdering satanist elites, and does deliver.

Not as iconic as the original Crow was for a minute, but not a cash grab from IP at all, a genuine attempt of honoring the material and making the best of the concepts.
