It's that kind of dementia where he remembers how to calibrate a hundred different engines correctly but only a handful of things about himself. It goes totally unnoticed when he's working but as soon as he slides into his personal life anyone could tell something is wrong. Is that because of meds? At least that's much better than having to deal with a manic psychotic woman like I had to do a couple times. If their speech doesn't make much sense that's one thing, but it's worse when it's their behavior that's illogical. It's still profoundly sad though. And IIRC what you said some time ago she used to be a little more disruptive
