I grew up watching AXN which I think was the beaner branch of NBC or some other americuck network that didn't really run sci-fi stuff. So what the jews projected into my eyeballs was CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds, L&O (the original), as well as a lot of other shows I never watched because I could tell I wouldn't like them. I have no idea where the sci-fi stuff was being aired at the time, I don't think I ever saw ads for either of those shows on any channel

Yeah, I already know some basics about BSG so I figured I'd like it. Stargate seems less ambitious and more 90s but it looked it could be fun in that way
