Transcendence is the whole life/multiple lives thing. Which I personally don't even pursuit.

Individuation is unification of our rational mind with the animal body. Reason, nature and nurture working together to surpass the limits of each of them.

Transcendence is metaphysical escape from the material world, be in life or after death.
