moments after I posted my rant last night the power went out so I thought I'd call it a day at that point and go to bed early. Today I woke up and I went to the postal office for my new pan and when I got there the employee (some old fat darkie woman) felt the need to comment on how "pretty and girly" my hands here and how I "must have never done anything with my life". Imagine treating a friendly stranger like that, practically begging for violence (which would certainly get me arrested and treated like a despicable freak). On the upside I can finally cook with a pan that doesn't have most of its teflon coating peeled away lol
