idk why americans always act surprised that there are so many homeless people, junkies and other rejects when it's blatantly obvious how their culture, legislation, etc are set up for exactly that to happen. I'm not going to go full on bleeding heart and pretend like none of those people deserve their fate I just think it's childish to pretend like it's a surprising phenomenon when it's pretty evident how that comes to pass.
