Her music for Remina (which is supposed to be her "sadgirl metal IN SPACE" project) does have echo or reverb or whatever normally but it doesn't have those vocal-ish sorts of synths that I remember, so you may have a point there. I think another likely culprit could be the senseless repetition, Heike tends to follow more traditional structure, like a relatively normal rock or metal song, not as straightforward as a commercial pop song, but still maybe too orderly and tidy for a cosmic theme. Idk I may be saying the most stupid shit and me trying to scrutinize Heike's music makes me feel like one of those stereotypical pretentious art critics that couldn't draw a stick figure if their life depended on it
