Moscow isn't anywhere near as empty as those spots in the pics cam posts, but does anyone else think their christmas decorations are extremely aesthetic? there's something about the combination of the architecture, the cloudy weather, the lights, the soft warm colors and the way they interact that creates a very pleasant and evocative scene. for me anyway. when I was a kid I really liked to look at the city lights and the raindrops on windows and stuff like that and this brings back that same feeling of inner peace (I assume that's the "meditative state" cam talked about). it's interesting how for the adult me it's super rare to experience that. my mind is always pulling me in some direction or another
