In general Russian aesthetics in architecture (and arts) is very weird. Everything they build is oversized and skewed ratios of proportions. Like there is a perfect normal sized thing (which would be normal in any corner of the Earth), and they add to the size randomly without concern the thing will look weird after. Like they never heard of rules of third or golden ratio or whatever.
These xmas decorations you posted are nice. I like the street ceiling of lights (3rd pic), kinda original idea. I saw that beforehand I think in an NFKRZ video.
