My dad made one for the Dodge too, less of a knob and more of a handle/grip with indentations for the fingers, and I gave it a few layers of varnish. It came out looking great, a bit fancy but still fit the vehicle well. That was around the same time that I painted the whole interior with a brush. Can't do stuff like that with a modern truck lol
