The original Astra-bot was created in 2022 as a first project of applying AI principles and methods from the book Artificial Intelligence, a Modern Approach (1991 ed). The idea was to create a tool which operates like a waterwheel-powered mill, but using Qi instead of water. This was done by creating an "intelligent agent" and including all methods needed, then placing it on a ScaleForm auto-executable disc. These are an astral technology used by reptilians (not Earth natives, other-dimensionals).

For easier interactivity, a personality was added, inspired by Astrael, the undead god.

A yellow energy crystal was also added to the design to serve as a memory device.
