Also it's not helping that some of my past life language knowledge is intuitively coming back because I just realized today how much of a bastard language the english is.
It was the word Career that I misspelled with 2 Rs because the origin of that word is everywhere with 2 R but in fucking eigo. Fucking Brits I swear. Not to mention there was always a "higher language" which survived because the literate usually wrote with that and the "lower language" which was the vulgar one for plebs and nowadays it's turned around because literacy is super common so the "lower language" is the dominant and using "Higher language" is "weird" because it makes you snobbish pretentious or anything that plebs dislike so your only way to "find the tone" is to talk like a vulgar fuck. The fact how higher language and lower language somewhat switched in writing changed the overall mindset of people through history really caught me off guard.
