exactly same as with tabaxi, the volo stuff is old the mordekainen is newer. this means no more subclasses like protector but mentally illformations after lv3
i suggest we stick to mordenkainen version in combination with tasha's cauldron, ignoring any volo stuff. its the most modern and straightforward option.
