Correction yet again:
4sp each if you fail the quest, this loss is within the amount the guild could loan you to pay debt.

Don't forget to bring rations.

Rations are 4lbs each to include the water, alternatively you would carry dry rations 1lb per day but have a waterskin with water in it, typically 6lbs or two days worth given 8 hours of activity per day, more if more.

None of you currently have a waterskin.

You can also buy a canteen which would carry 3 days.

Also to note, the well traveled trails are picked clean of forage, so foraging for food is far less effective. Water is available from ponds, rivers and streams, there is no issue drinking that. You may also collect rainwater and it is expected that you don't need to expend water on a rainy day.
