I think you could light and throw. You have 6 seconds, you can do that in 6 seconds easily. But do you have anything to light it with? Are you throwing it on anything flammable? I've performed enough war crimes in Rimworld to know the temperature isn't going to do much with a nice open cave. Alcohol doesn't smoke, the fire on Alcohol can be impressive if conflagulated properly but throwing the alcohol at wet rocks next to a stream will have unimpressive results. You haven't checked if the air is even going in or leaving the cave. This isn't magic, there are things that need to be considered.

Oil works, it even burns on water, they likely sell oil bombs in adventure shops that would act like the spell grease + lit.

Scheming is good, but consequences and preparation should also be considered.

Ashley shared their senses for the purpose of investigation but not like a drone camera, no.

>Now what?

I like that you're cautious but I wonder why you ran up to the front line out of your full cover. These aren't orcs and you're not a elder dragon, they won't just run past you.

[Ashley] yeah, kinda suicidal, get back into the protection of cover guys! You can still pick them off at range. Granted it'll be slower. You didn't see this at the time but when the second round came out, Cat was surrounded by three. If they had a chance to hit they could have downed her. Haven't you ever heard of Guerrilla warfare and kiting? Though they do have ranged weapons too so maybe we should have a front line. Let me tell you though, good luck to them when I unleash the beast. What worries me is we don't have AOE and Alice is right that if she had glass jars, wicks, and something to light it with, we could use that once we're not right next to water. They'll just take a dip and extinguish themselves.

[Joy] in one turn, you could make wicks from your clothes and assemble but you don't have suitable container, something like a ceramic pot topped in wax or glass jars with a wick sticking out the lid.
