You want to do the first on the top row and the last on the bottom row.
Lines (bottom row) are how many ways you can win. Each line costs however many credits you are betting on the top row.
So 1c bets, on 50/max lines = 50c a spin.
That's better than betting 10c on only 5 lines but I've seen people bet like that and win.
A person I know usually bets 10c on 30 lines, that's $3 a spin though.
