The cops went the high school for a talk and tried to educate the kids about what was a class 3 compliant Ebike and what was not. They didn’t do a very good job. They came back a few weeks later when the kids were in class and impounded half the kids bikes. Also if they see any proper dirt bikes like sauron or talaria outside McDonald’s they chain them up when the kids are inside ordering.
It’s a full out blitz. Senior citizens are a majority here and have been complaining about kids on e-bikes for years. The new state member we elected here is actually an ex copper and has gone Blitzkrieg. It’s actually great for me because I only sell the legal bikes and been warning people about the piece of shit shit fat tyre moped style bikes for years.
