Use this to figure out your Basal Metabolic Rate.
Basically this is how many Calories you use per day when you do nothing but sit on your fat arse.
That means if you eat 300-500 Calories less than that each day you will lose weight each day even if you just sat on your arse and did nothing.
500 Calories less than your BMR each day and you should be down a kg in about 16 days.
Get yourself some kitchen scales, weigh you food, google how many Calories are in a given thing.
Eventually you can pretty much eyeball it and have a mental list of how many Calories are in things - just like how you have a rough idea of how much money they cost.
But for precision you just have to do the math.
Alternatively if you just fasted one day per week you'd probably be down about a kg per month.
Assuming you don't overeat on the other days.
