i make a lot of soup where i just use boiling water from the kettle. i got rid of my stove, hardly ever used it. insead now i have a toaster oven and two simple old hotplates that i can just leave in the shelve and never use and they don't rob space in my ridiculously tiny inner city kitchen.

noodle recipe:

>big bowl (enough space for 2 liter)
>hot water (i use ~1 liter for my big evening meal)
>dry rice noodles (i buy the thickness of the noodles just thin enough so that just the noodles getting the heat from the boiling water cooks them enough. too thick noodles have to be cooked before separatly in a different container, which is annoying.
