The astral may just be other dimensions which are physical once you are there, but as I see it there is some kind of border between a set of physical dimensions of different densities, and an astral non-physical which is closer to the creator gods. All of this is so much in your own personal practice that it's pointless to try and talk about it beyond a certain point. As much as I'd like to share the possibility of having your own ship, there is no clear way to share it like this. There has to be a pre existing personal contact based on the trust embedded in such contacts.

The federation is a technology, and the culture which is the result of using it. It's perhaps an attempt at spreading the unity experienced at higher levels of existence down here. If everyone trust each other enough to share everything, there won't be a problem doing so, when this trust is based on the factual situation of everyone indeed being trustworthy. But if you want to include even those who are against unity, they will work against the construct and abuse it, like the rats in Animal Farm. Some animals had to be excluded from the sharing because they would just steal things even when given a fair share. If those are cleared away, the federation works. Some factions work well. If the Earth can be registered as a nature reserve and this is accepted by enough of them, there won't be a problem. Having many people with the ability to use battleships would indeed help. The "rats" of the federation will still be subdued by firepower. That's how the world it. The federation is already present here, the question isn't if they are or not, it's what version of them we get here. Freemasons and glow-in-the-darks already belong to a power structure which is part of the federation, and they are rotten to the core. They aren't even admitting that they are communists so you can never get them to stop, they don't even believe they are themselves. The communist hellhole is the current society, even the Soviet Union wasn't as bad as the "capitalist" west is today.
