I do recall something showing their "real form" a couple of times. the first time it like looking into a very deep, but calm abyss through a mirror and they glowed somewhat. the second time took place in one of the mansion visits, one was very tall, had pale skin and white, long flowing hair

at any rate i tried talking to aphrodite/venus normally instead of doing praying and i think it worked(?). she acted the same way she did that one time
