Because they are persecuted and genocided for centuries, they never speak openly about what they are. They managed to hide their appearance completely to humans, using their psychic abilities. But human secret services all have gathered human psychics so they can still keep track of who they are.

You will never find one talking about it with any human, but obviously they teach their kids about the difference, and why they can't talk to the humans who don't have green skin about it. They're the most secretive racial group on the planet.

Reptilians don't have super powers except for their 3rd eye and some other abilities, so they need to hide. Vampires are also secretive because they need blood, and that requires a network to not attract attention. But they aren't in the same kind of danger, because all vampires with some experience are untouchable to humans. They can change time and space, mindcontrol humans directly, and if against all odds you got to fight one, they move faster than anyone else. But that's just unthinkable, they wouldn't stay around in an exposed situation like that.

Even lower vampires are impossible to touch, they create a "nest" in a city and take over all political and business positions, they control the police and legal system as well. If someone was to find out something funny about them, they'd themselves be found dead in an alley or thrown out a window.

You can just think about what perfectly normal human gangs can do, then add supernatural powers to that and it's just a beast you can't do anything about. Governments can already not stop drug dealers as is.
