I am not sure if this is related but I had quite the dream. It was a series of dream chapters. They were tests.

It started with a feeling of an early access game that I was part of a long time where I collected "resources" via doing half baked tasks that were so meaningless I could do it without paying attention and as I noticed having quite the amount of resources but still not the most the game got an "update". Suddenly it felt like a tower defense game where I controlled electric towers (which is a magic I did in the past so it was nothing new) then as I noticed that my region is "stable" and uninterrupted was wondering what is this game update about then I suddenly noticed that I can expand to other electric/radio towers. Then I noticed I just need to change some long metallic tubes on the "meta plane" and with that the tower connects to my "territory" and with that I noticed that I actually did not get a singular tower but at least 3 and as I was wondering about this my tower got attacked by beings that I could describe as harpies. Then suddenly I realized that I just need to place "disintegrators" on the tower so it can "zap" the attackers out of existence. As the harpies got evaporated and everything became calm the event concluded the next part began. I still had a "feel" that this is the part of the game update so I went along. Then me and several other people arrived at a place where there were large chunks of meat with the size of a bus with a bone in the middle. It was obvious that the goal was to consume it so I went to it and the others too because they knew it is part of the test/game. As I was thinking I am the first I looked away the moment I finished and noticed someone a moment before me finished it but it didn't matter because everyone else finished almost the same time and we all passed. I knew I was the second so as I was wondering what is my price I noticed a white baton in my hand with a V on it. Was wondering why a V that is the 5th as a roman numeral I was not the 5th but whatever we all passed it shouldn't matter. Then we started to wander in dark long corridors and we entered into a place of pure darkness where we could see in the distance in a far away building shrouded in darkness people lighting candles in the dark. Then our guide told us that the people there light candles and there is an another group of people that secretly snuffs out those candles without anyone noticing and they are in a sort of "battle" about winning and the side that either snuffs out all candles or lights all of them wins. Then as I was expecting the symbolical explanation we got the next part of the test. Those people lost numbers on both sides all the time because everyone is a double agent in a way or an another and both sides needs replenishment all the time. The next test will be that we will be assigned to the team as they lose numbers. As most participants of the test got assigned I was sitting front of a door with an another person thinking about "how stupid this is" and I commented sarcastically "this is a real amogus huh". He laughed in such a pained way that I couldn't decide he understood the whole irony of my comment or not at all.
